This weekend I was at Walgreens, printing some pictures, when I saw a pink hair straightener. I am a huge pink fan anyway but when I looked a little bit closer I saw that it had the pink ribbon symbol for Breast Cancer. Thats when I remembered that it is breast cancer awareness month, from reading Breast Cancer Awareness Month blog posted by Jasmine.
I really didn't need a hair straightener but I really wanted a pink straightener because I am in love with pink. Not only that but I also wanted to support breast cancers. It wasn't too expensive either it was about $20. I was also afraid that it was going to be a cheap straightener and not work very well. But it was great! It has a temperature setting and I was able to straighten my hair this morning in about 5 mins normally it takes about 10-15 mins. I was very impressed!
There are also many other pink items to support breast cancer as shown in the picture above. You can go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation website to find more of these great items and support breast cancer research.
