October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. There are many opportunities if you want to do your own part to help promote knowledge and research for a cure. Target has partnered with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation to help raise money. There are some really cute items, like hair straighteners and jewelry you can find at Target, or take a look at the items here.
I personally would choose the IPod docking station that I saw in the store. I don’t have many accessories for my IPod yet, and this one would be perfect. It is my favorite color (pink of course!) and would match my room perfectly!
So do your part to help with breast cancer research. Get what you would normally get, just choose pink instead!

I love the fact that they have Breast Cancer awareness month. My best friends grandmother passed away from breast cancer a long time ago and we still buy stuff, thats pink of course, to support the cause. We even have things to hang from our mirrors in our cars!
I'm really glad that you wrote this post. I had no idea that Target was selling these items. Breast Cancer awareness month is one that is very special to a lot of people. Now I know where I can go in order to do my part in supporting the cause. Thanks!
Also at Payless ShoeSource you can buy a breast cancer awareness bracelet for $2 and pink ribbon slippers for $10. The bracelet is really cool looking too. The money goes to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation. As a women I definitely think it is a good idea to support both awareness and finding the cure for breast cancer. I am sure almost everyone knows a family that has been affected by breast cancer. Thanks for writing the article.
